GeSHi extension recommended

I wanted to display some XML at Creating a custom searchbastard engine. On my wikis, I always configure Extension:SyntaxHighlight GeSHi - MediaWiki which does syntax highlighting for code added to wiki pages. It's not to difficult to set up. I can help you through it, if you like.

And another thing, Make Link is a huge boon for adding external links to Wiki markup, if you haven't discovered this yet yourself. I can't wiki without it.
