Right-clicking a group brings up the Group context menu. The menu is divided into five sections, each described below.

Section 1: Searches

The searchoptions can be used when you want to target the search to another target than the one you have choosen as default. As you can see, there are quite a lot of options when you open up "More search options":

Section 2: Moving, removing and duplicating

Usually you would move and duplicate by drag/dropping (holding ctrl down during drag/drop makes a duplicate), but here is an alternate way to do that. "Move up" moves the item one position up within the containing group/bar and "Move down" moves it one position down. In the "Move" submenu, you can choose a group that the item will be moved directly to (as the last item):

"Remove" and "Duplicate" does what they say. There is no problem in duplicating groups that contains subgroups.


Section 3: Adding engines to the group

"Add engine" allows you to add an existing engine to the group. The menu contains all installed engines, grouped into "Searchbastard engines", "Firefox engines" and "All engines":

Section 4: Changing the folder type

This section provides a quick way to change the folder type of the group. It displays a "Change folder type to: xxx" for each folder type in the system, except the current folder type of the group. Also, when the group contains subgroups, two more options are displayed: "Change folder type of all children" and "Change folder type of all descendants". "Change folder type of all children" changes the folder type of all children, but not grand children. Last section: Set/change alias(es) and Properties

"Set/change alias(es)" displays the current group alias, and provides a quick way to change it.
